I would give Mama Lisa's Little Italy 1 star, but unfortunately Yelp does not allow for 0 stars. The food is overpriced and subpar, and to make matters worse, the owner is apathetic and rude, lacking in customer service skills. I suggest avoiding this place altogether. We visited for a later supper. Our order was carry out. Restaurant was empty except for one table. Still took longer to get a large pizza than we expected. Drove the pizza to nearby apartment (1/4 mile away) and it was already cold. The pizza was OK but would prolly have been great had we gotten it while it was hot. Staff was friendly. Parking a little limited. Price OK.
I'm a firm believer there is no such thing as bad pizza because I'll eat any pizza....until I had their pizza. I've had pizza from all walks of life from ny to Italy to dominos to the frozen aisle at the grocery store and this is by far the absolute worst pizza I have ever had. I got pizza delivery last night and let's forget they didn't get the toppings right, but as soon as you pick it up it all falls apart into a pile on your plate. Completely soggy and just frankly disgusting. It's very rare that I will give a place a 1 star, but it is apparent this kitchen does not care what comes out because in all honestly I would have preferred a pizza bagel than ever attempt to eat a mess like that again. This is the stuff out of kitchen nightmares.
Do not... I repeat... do not eat anything except pizza here. I can't verbalize the reason you shouldn't get pasta because I might throw up, but the pizza is awesome.
Lisa is a great owner. Cares so much about the community and is always willing to help the local kids. Food is great especially knowing a portion of my bill will eventually make its way back into the community and enrich the lives of others.
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 2 sausage and mushroom calzones. They said it would be delivered in 20-25 minutes. 40-45 minutes later I called when our food hadn't been delivered. They apologized and said they accidentally skipped over our order, and that it would be another 20-25 minutes. While I was on the phone, the delivery guy came to the door. He had two pepperoni and mushroom calzones (wrong! and no pizza. He said he would go get it and bring it back. The incompetency if the employees is unbelievable. Will never order a delivery again!
