Tommy was outstanding. He was friendly , polite and went above and beyond the call of duty providing outstanding customer service. I will definitely be back. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Matthias and his excellent staff in kitchen and restaurant looked after us so well and coped so kindly with my Aunts dietary requirement., they couldn’t have been kinder. The food was interesting and delicious , , the restaurant has an open airy feel which is great on a warm evening, everything you want in a place to eat but most outstanding was the service and absolute kindness of the members of staff.

Visited with colleagues on a Wednesday evening. The food is good and the restaurant clean quiet and pleasant. Our visit however was made excellent thanks to Nikolette who was our waitress and appeared to be the only one working in a relatively busy restaurant. Nikolette knew everything on the menu, had tried it personally and was honest in her appraisal of everything. It’s incredible how much of a difference a good member of staff can make,. If you manage a restaurant you would be wise to poach this lady before someone else does!

We’re staying here tonight, but not off to a great start. Check-in was a hassle, first key didn’t even work and we had to wait to get it fixed. It seems this particular hotel also does not support the usual online check-in process. Did not receive early check-in, late check-out or suite upgrade for being a Radisson VIP member. Not informed of the breakfast process, either. These are rewards that are technically “subject to availability” however across hundreds of stays with Radisson I have never NOT had them, and have never had to ask until today. Online bookings showed plenty of suite availability, so this was purely a decision made by the front desk. The initial lady at the desk did not provide us with access to the executive lounge, either, and we had to ask for this. We were also given false information that VIP members are only upgraded to one tier above, which is absolutely incorrect. This is only true for the Premium tier members, not VIP. Unfortunately not pleased with this particular Radisson hotel so far.

Parking Pains and Room Views After a disastrous start at another hotel, we found ourselves at this one. Our main concern? Parking. They had it, but at £25 a day, it felt like highway robbery. For budget-conscious travelers, consider this an extra line item in your expenses. Now, the parking spaces—narrower than a tightrope walker’s path. If you’re rolling in a smart car, no worries. But our Jaguar? It grumbled like a teenager asked to do chores. The reception staff? Lovely, no matter the hour. Breakfast? A shining beacon of satisfaction—no complaints there. Our room, 410, overlooked neighboring apartments. We spotted a guy watching TV. He’s probably used to curious guests peering into his life. (Wouldn’t we all love a room with a view? Tea situation: dire. No “normal” tea in our room. I raided the breakfast lounge like a tea-thirsty pirate. The room itself? A bit dull, like a faded postcard. The carpets? Well, let’s just say they’ve seen better days. And the shower screen? A leaky culprit. Water cascaded onto the floor, so we deployed towels like flood control experts. But here’s the twist: The hotel sits smack in the city center. An unexpected stay due to circumstance, but hey, it was okay. Not great, not terrible—just okay.
