Description

The restaurant at Jurys Hotel offers a pleasant ambiance with welcoming staff. While service may be slow, as seen by a long wait and meal mix-ups, there are standout employees like Fay who make the experience better. The food, although hit or miss, has delicious options like the pizza. Customer service is generally good, with some mishaps redeemed by offers of complimentary items. Overall, the restaurant provides a modern setting with a nice selection of food and drinks, making it a solid choice near Cardiff city center.

Have dined here a few times in the past food has always been exceptional, firstly this is connected with what was Jurys Inn Hotel, now Leonardo, but you can dine here if not staying in the hotel obviously you may need to book beforehand or try your luck asking for a table, I booked ! Tomato soup to start which was obviously home made and tasted delicious, for mains the half roast chicken with accompaniments was really tasty and highly recommended, all washed down with a pint of Budweiser see my photos and judge for yourself. This place is a little gem near the centre of Cardiff.

Very unwelcoming, they’d mopped with some strong chemicals by 10:20pm and unwelcoming staff and atmosphere. Didn’t stay for a drink.

We ate here because we were staying in the adjoining hotel. It was well organised and the staff were helpful. Food was good.

Spacious dining area. Burgers were tasty. But the fries were a let down. I was there at what I assume was a quiet time of day so no atmosphere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
