They do have two other stores, one at Belmont/Carina and one at Carin... read more Unfortunately since writing my last review, Flour Monkey have closed their Capalaba Store. They do have two other stores, one at Belmont/Carina and one at Carindale along Creek Rd at or near the Metropol Shopping Centre. I did ring the owner and ask if they had moved to another location in the Redlands but unfortunately not for now, but she did not rule out possibly opening a shop back in the Redlands in the future. CAN ONLY SAY - best and great hot tasties pies, hot coffee and very friendly and efficient staff when we purchased from Capalaba when it was open :(

As soon as we walked in, a very polite young lady greeted us without the usual subtle... read more We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. As soon as we walked in, a very polite young lady greeted us without the usual subtle pressure of asking what we would like. She was very courteous and once we made our decision, we were promptly served with our delicious pies and sausage roll. It was a pleasant surprise to find a place where both the service and the food were truly top-notch. Well done!

The staff are very attentive and friendly... read more The only reason I visit Capalaba Central is for the restaurant. The bread is fantastic and the pull-aparts are superb. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Just looking at the desserts makes me gain 5 pounds! The pies are the best in the area.
