Blaze
Description
Blaze Brewing offers a scenic waterfront setting with a dog-friendly atmosphere and a diverse, unique menu featuring standout dishes like pork belly lollipops, curry, lobster bowls, and duck fat fries. Many patrons praise the flavorful food and craft beers, along with attentive, knowledgeable staff who enhance the dining experience. However, service inconsistency, slow food delivery, and occasional order mix-ups have been noted, especially during busy or private events. While meat dishes tend to impress, salads and some appetizers have received mixed reviews. Overall, Blaze Brewing remains a memorable spot for quality meals and great brews, though service can be hit or miss.

Absolutely incredible experience. Our waitress, Taylor, was so friendly, sincere and hospitable. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing as we looked out over the boats and bay. And the food was prepared to perfection. Best lobster bisque I've had!
The bartender was very nice and the facility is fun and funky. Location is nicely situated amongst the action of the town. We ordered 2 flights of various drinks with mixed results. I give them massive amounts of credit for offering a wide array ofdifferent beverages from craft beer to innovative ciders. That made the beverage exploration experience rather fun. There weresome beers and ciders which we simply couldn 't finish because the flavors were unpalatable for us personally. But, there were afew seasonal ciders which knocked our proverbial socks off. Based on our one time experience here, my advice is to ask thefriendly bartender what they recommend based on the season and start with a flight. This will prevent you from committing to afull glass of beer or cider that you don 't like or that even makes you dry heave with each continued sip as you try not to wasteit by powering through the drink with a grimace. But, on the flip side, trying a flight will also allow you to hone in on thatunexpected brew you truly love and want to drink an entire glass of that evening. Overall, we still had fun going out of ourcomfort zones to try the different beverages but we couldn 't really suggest a beer that rocked our world.
The lobster bisque was quite good, though the beet salad could have been larger than I anticipated. The lobster pizza was surprisingly decent! I'm not usually a fan of crust, but I found myself finishing theirs because the dough was so flavorful. Plus, they get bonus points for being dog-friendly! They also have a lovely deck area with sun shades.
I sat at the bar and enjoyed a few drinks before ordering food to take back to my hotel. Chris, the bartender, was exceptional and very attentive. The drink prices were reasonable. I had a pizza and a side salad. The food was decent—although the crust was a bit soggy, the flavor was excellent! I only wish the bar area was larger! I wanted to come back the next night, but there was no room at the bar!
The blueberry soda was fantastic, and the duck fat fries were delicious too; a little more salt would elevate them to perfection. The pizza was excellent but slightly undercooked in the center. It must be challenging to achieve an even bake in a wood-fired oven. The service was excellent, and the waitress was extremely friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
