Phoenician - NEW HARTFORD

Really great food! Before we moved to Virginia about 20 years ago, we loved the Phoenician. After our first visit back since we came back home in 2018 we still do. Our lunch was fantastic and reasonably priced. I had the souvlaki skewer and my wife had the chicken both with rice. Came with a delicious (and simple) salad as well as sides. I had the feta and olives and my wife had the hummus. We shared both and absolutely loved it!! It’s a great place, although it’s dated for decor, but the food and service more than make up for it.

It was amazing to return to The Phoenician, after 30 long years since my college party there! I returned with my daughter, for a Reunion, and was pleasantly surprised to find a lunch buffett, which even my picky daughter enjoyed! The food was absolutely marvelous, full of flavor and taste. The hostess was beyond wonderful! I promised her I would not wait another 30 years to return!

We tried the buffet for the first time everything we tried was amazing and a great value for the price.

I went there for the first time with a friend, and it was delicious. Tried some new food, and the customer service was great. Family, fun, and peaceful atmosphere. Recommend the lunch buffet!
