The food and service were excellent. We opted for the dineout menu and will certainly return in the future.
I want to thank the restaurant for brightening up the room with additional lighting. During my previous visit, half of the room was not well-lit for some reason. This time, I noticed some extra lights, a fireplace, and TV screens (although they were more distracting than enhancing the ambiance). I decided not to go for the Dine Out option since I had already tried it before. Instead, I ordered a large salad and truffle fries. The salad seemed to be missing beets, which I believe would have helped balance out the strong feta cheese taste. Next time, I will make sure to request the feta on the side. The salad was similar to the one from the Dine Out menu but larger and with lots of cheese. The truffle fries were lacking in truffle oil, so I asked for more. Unfortunately, I did not realize that there was a strong cheese topping on the fries, which I am not a fan of. I ended up taking both dishes home as I couldn't finish them. Lesson learned for next time.
I have attended two weddings at this venue and on both occasions, I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food that was served. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the golf course and has a spacious layout with high ceilings.
The restaurant space is actually quite nice. High ceilings, large windows to let plenty of light in. It's chillier now, but I saw they have a patio outside that would be nice on a summer evening. There is plenty of spacing between tables, so it didn't feel crowded. Servers were friendly and attentive. The food was just alright, nothing really stood out for me. I shared a few dishes, including the Caesar salad, calamari, soup of the day, and the steak frites. The daily soup was a creamy seafood soup served with some garlic bread. The soup had plenty of seafood, including salmon, mussels, and shrimp. The Caesar salad was huge, not overly dressed, though I wish it had more croutons or larger sized croutons. The calamari was probably my favourite. It was a generous portion. It was crisp and delicious. Our entree was also a good portion. The steak was cooked to medium rare. Although a bit chewy, it was pretty good. The truffle fries were crisp and flavourful. Overall, the meal was decent, but nothing special. For a large group, it works as they have some large round tables and it's spacious inside.
My boyfriend and I went here for their dine out experience. We started with some seafood chowder that was accompanied by a little at-the-table pouring action (wish I could've attached that video here). The next thing that we ordered that was notable was the lobster burger (pic attached). We joked that we were misled that the lobster will be in the burger but that's ok. Lastly my favorite was the cheesecake. It was a simple NY cheesecake but instead of being heavy it was really really light! Even though I was full I kept eating because it was so light. Highly recommend. Their servers are great although service was a little slow at times but not a big deal!
