What Carina Bogdan doesn't like about Amvrosia:
It was a beautiful place where you could get a good lunch or dinner, but for some time the food quality is not one of the most anticipated. Probably I decided to order the food in a bad day when they were not in the mood for cooking. But generally the food is ok, too slow services and if it is not full the restaurant, the atmosphere is average. View all feedback.
If you want to visit an old decrepit restaurant with small portion sizes, sub-average food and extremely poor service along with Hilton Marriott prices, visit them, you have an explosion! They love stealing your money.
Get off! When we arrived, we went through the restaurant to the terrace. We had a reservation, but no one was there to welcome us. We asked a waitress who was somehow rude and showed no interest. We sat at a table later, but no one came to our table for about 20 minutes because there are only 6 tables in the garden. The place is not cultivated, either the garden is just a mess, tables are wobbly . We had a look at the menu: and shock, these prices vs location vs, how the place is cultivated is a complete tip of. Yarn for 80 RON !, Calamari for 55 RON to name some. These are Hilton prices and this place does NOT justify such price levels even more because the food was slow as in super slow. Forty minutes to come for my so-called “Kebab” small portion but hey, lets the customer 38 RON his no more than 18 20 RON When asked why it took so long until our food was prepared, they said “we cook everything fresh”. Well, this is a bad excuse if you have 6 tables to take care of and have 2 small pieces of “Kebab” meat for my dish. I was in many restaurants that cook things fresh, but this restaurant has problems with providing food in time. Finally, the waiters did not wear a mask in the restaurant or outside and this is a blatant disregard for your client. I feel obliged to report them to the authorities Long story short: stay away, there are better places around. If you like to drip on blackmail prices and slow food delivery and get Corona as a bonus... go here! Don't even deserve a star.
It is definitely the best Greek restaurant in Bucharest. It’s the 3 time I come back to eat. Try the starters
Good greek restaurant, with tasty starters (tzatiki, fried pumpkin) and good desserts; mixt grill was average; kind, rather slow service; pricey; outdoor seating with lake view; free wi-fi street parking;
The best greek restaurant ever ... ! Excellent food great view near the lake .. i had some guests from greece and i regerved at amvrosia. the appetizers were excellent and the kokoretsi was delicious .. everything was be on me expectations .. i recommend the restaurant especially for whom wants to feel the greek spirit and hospitality ..
