Off the beaten track, it definitely needed GPS to find it again on my return visit. The highlight this time was a course severed after the platter of meats and before the main course. It was described as a "Shepherds Breakfast", all I can say is lucky shepherd. In appearance it looked like a dessert, and comprised a polenta cake/ pudding filled with melted cheese and an poached egg encased in the polenta, all topped... View all feedback.

Even the food was well done, the service was unacceptable poor, from the moment we entered this restaurant. The hosts treated us unrespectful throughout lunch and gave us the feeling that we are not welcome View all feedback.
This no nonsense simple decor restaurant delivers exactly what they advertise.......Delicious, home style cooking that felt authentic. I had the potato, smoked ham and tarragon soup followed by the veal scallopini and a glass of red wine. The dishes are well proportioned. The menu has English and the restaurant takes credit card. A most enjoyable meal.

Great food. By far the best we had in Bucuresti. The service was friendly and fast ant the location was authentic. Every traveler's dream.
Since I am only a Scandinavian tourist, I cannot comment on the authenticity of the restaurant. However, I will testify that this is the best restaurant where I have eaten in Bucharest. The food was very delicious, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy and the service was pleasant. I recommend enjoying a meal here.
The staff was very friendly and easy to work. They delivered a table that was comfortable for our family and had so delicious food. A return trip to Bucharest is worthwhile to come here!!
