What S6676WFdarreng dislikes about Mo's Fish And Chips:
I went to this restaurant yesterday for skate and chips, my favorite dish. The fish took a long time to cook, and I think the new owner forgot it was in the fryer. The batter was brown and crumbled to dust when I tried to eat it with a fork. The chips were also brown and greasy. The restaurant has been under new ownership for a while now, but unfortunately, I won't be returning. View all feedback.

Have been to this takeaway before but tonight the food was very disappointing, we ordered over the phone and told it would be 10 minutes, when we arrived 5 minutes later it was ready, once unwrapped on arrival home the batter was very soggy and the curry sauce was extremely watery, not good at all. Its a shame as this was once a great takeaway.
Apparently, you're meant to give you order to the person standing outside. But if you're not a regular, they let you walk in, and queue up for 5 minutes, and then look at you as if you're an alien for not knowing how their peculiar system works. Staff don't give any eye contact, and all act like it's the worst job in the world, and just want to go home.
Best GF fish and chips I've had. The mushy peas are good too. What else to say?I drive over from my mothers in Bromley to collect
Recent experiences at a local fish and chip restaurant reveal a stark divide between past glory and present disappointment. While some patrons reminisce about perfectly cooked haddock and delightful gluten-free options, others lament soggy batter, greasy chips, and inefficient service. New ownership seems to have introduced confusion in ordering protocols, leading to frustrated customers. Additionally, high prices paired with small portions have left many seeking alternatives. Despite these issues, a few still praise the freshness and flavor, highlighting the potential for redemption. Ultimately, this establishment may need to reassess its quality and service to regain its former reputation as a local favorite.
