However, when it arrived, I was shocked to see that the... read more I ordered a large portion of chips for £3 to share with three other people at Buxton Fish and Chip shop. However, when it arrived, I was shocked to see that the portion was actually quite small. When I asked the woman working there about it, she insisted that it was a large portion. In reality, it was barely enough for one person. I was extremely disappointed and felt like I was being ripped off. Overall, a very poor experience at Buxton Fish and Chips.

The cod was cooked to perfection and coated in a lightly crispy batter. It was an exceptional meal, and the portions were very generous. Thank you, Gastro-Fry!

The portions are generous and everything is cooked fresh to order, which is always a positive sign. One piece of feedback I have is that the tubs for extras like peas and curry gravy could be bigger.
