The nostalgia of this quant corner shop is where every American would want to eat and listen to music from an era when time was much simpler.

Service... read more Took a drive down to southern WV for the Bramwell Spring Tour of Homes and had lunch at the Bramwell Corner Shop and without a doubt it?s a hidden gem. Service was a little dicey to start, but in their defense, it was probably busier today that almost anyother day for the small town. We ordered the chili slaw burger, chicken sandwich, bacon cheeseburger (no bun) all with fries.Everything was delicious. The toppings tasted fresh and the housemade sauces were excellent; especially the jalapeño sauce. Thechili slaw burger had distinct flavors and the fries were fresh cut. As someone who typically doesn?t like jalapeños, I wassurprised to find the breaded ones on my chicken sandwich were not too spicy but had a great flavor. Honestly one of the bestchicken sandwiches I?ve ever had. The buns and croissant were fresh and nicely toasted. The restaurant itself also featureshouse made ice cream and soda from an antique soda fountain. Sadly, we?re so full we didn?t get to try the ice cream.

I ordered a chocolate ?slurgy? (milkshake) and my wife ordered the ?Cookie Monster? malt. Both were incredible. Weshared a pepperoni pizza roll, which was extremely good. If you are in the area of Bramwell, definitely stop by.

The ladies working were friendly and kind. Wish we could have went back the next night for supper, we will stop by again when we are in the area for another ride.
