Tangs - Bracknell Forest
Tangs
Description
At Tang’s, diners experience a vibrant atmosphere and a diverse culinary selection, notably in the seafood and dessert categories. Many appreciate the friendly staff and the impressive variety of dishes, often returning for the flavorful offerings. However, some patrons have reported service issues, including inadequate plate clearing and slow food replenishment during busy hours. While the food generally impresses, concerns were raised about cleanliness and preparation consistency, particularly with certain dishes. The restaurant’s buffet style can lead to a chaotic dining experience, yet for those seeking a good meal with a multitude of options, Tang’s remains a popular choice.

We went for lunch and when we walked in there were 2 members of staff at the desk then they both walked away and ignored us. Un be known to us we were 10 mins before they were due to open, we only knew as we googled the restaurant and found out that way. There were staff huddled in the restaurant clearly not one of them had the common decency to let us know you weren’t open yet!!! Customer Service is awful we have visited the restaurant on a few occasions but never again.
Visited this place again on 29th May, expecting to see some improvement. Result is total disappointment: pointed the problems to two of their staff members, one seems to be the manager, but they seems to be helpless. Food : soups are cornflour water with some eggs, corn and soya sauce.. meat items are stale and seems to be reheated. Fresh item is the seafood kitchen where they removed salmon, prawns, and reduced quantity of availanle items. Never think about using their toilets, some asian railway toilets are cleaner. May be because of the preservatives in food, I am feeling uncomfortable now. Never again..
What an amazing experience for a weekday lunch in a small town with such a mind boggling choice of Eastern foods. I've never been to a buffet like it before! And it didn't end there a wonderful choice of cakes and icecreams to finish off as well. All at a reasonable price.
I had a great day out! I visited the new cinema in the Lexicon and then decided to grab a bite to eat at Tang's. I was very impressed with the freshness of the food they offer!
