We have always frequented Haka for years but n... read more Found out tonight that a few months ago this establishment changed hands. The food has gone downhill drastically. We have always frequented Haka for years but not any more unless they pull their socks up. The chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce was...in a thin watery gravy nothing like the sticky yellow bean sauce their predecessor used to serve up! The mushroom chop suey was more like a tomato and mushroom casserole with tomato being the predominant flavour. Why would we want mushroom chop suey to taste mainly of tomato? The young lady who took our call gave us a refund but we won't be going there again unless I see improved reviews on this website.

Last n... read more I was hoping to send them a private message but they don't offer that option on their website. We have been using the Kaka for years and always loved it. Last night's supper was nothing at all like it used to be. The crispy chilli...beef was grey and chewy, the satay chicken was a fraction of the usual size with a thin watery greasy sauce. I could go on and on but I think it is obvious they have either changed chef or possibly owners. It was very busy so obviously word has not go around yet but please Haka go back to your former wonderful food. Ending on a positive note the lady who took the order over the phone was friendly and polite and it was delivered very quickly.

Best of all, the food arrives hot, something that has never happened with other suppliers. Haka does not charge a delivery fee and the food is reasonably priced. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

It was probably one of t... read more Have been using haha for years now and have always enjoyed the food. We ordered our usuals meals last night and were so disappointed!!! It was probably one of the worst Chinese meals we have had. The portion sizes have shrunk, prices drastically increased and...quality totally gone!! The sesame prawn toast was always amazing with plenty of prawn, now there isn’t any on it that I could find and nearly £1 more expensive! The beef in oyster sauce bland and chewy, sweet and sour sauce tasteless, crispy chilli beef was tough and chewy not at all crispy! When I rang to complain they offered me a credit on my next order which I refused and in the end took the food back to the shop for a refund! Certainty won’t be ordering again and I highly recommend that no one else does!!!
