It's the good plan of the neighborhood, we eat very well and cheap for quality. very nice service on terrace or inside. The map is not very provided, it's pretty day kitchen. but that's the principle of this brewery.
We came in a group for lunch in this establishment, whose name refers to the housemaster of the 19th century or better to the xxema holder! .the minimalist scenery is rather any... like the neighborhood around. There were already other guests, but the service was nevertheless relatively quick after a correct reception (we had booked). The menu was at 13€,E p D.I was disappointed by my cod dish and my glass of wine, quite ordinary, at 3,50€. The coffee is 1,50€
We found this place through Trip Advisor and even though it was a 30 min walk from where we were staying it was so worth it. Our host was Engueran and he gave us so much personalised attention and was so passionate about the food we were just so impressed. We had the foie gras and the crab for starters and then the duck, the chicken and the fish amongst us. The desserts were also amazing. The food was fresh and homemade in home style. In summary a superb place away from the tourist traps and a place that is simple, personalised and caring.
My husband and I chose this restaurant after reading glowing reviews on Tripadvisor. We were very happy. It is located in a quiet location about two blocks from the river. Customer service was excellent from the time it came. Our server was... quick to bring us a wine list and then went carefully over the menu on the chalkboard and told us every article in English. We felt that the elections were exceptional for a small local dining area. We decided to share the canard with tasted garlic potatoes and greens, and lure the shrimps that were presented both tasty and beautiful. Both dishes were a pleasure! We appreciate the time spent was welcome to feel welcome and highly recommended to give this place an attempt!.
Many visitors in bordeaux stay only in the city center and do not explore the smaller quarters. the chartron, historically the area where the wine traders were located. Today it is an emerging residential area with many fun shops and restaurants. Chez...L,Doron is one of these special places. to get from the city center, take the tram b to the chartron station 6 minutes) then after crossing the lanes to the right and in the rue barreyre turn left, they will be under some old routes from the 1700s. turn right on the first street and go over a block, on the left side there is a somewhat modern building with a lot of glass. this has come the place so, many of the employees speak English. for our outing there were four of us and we all choose from the menu instead of any teller. the pate, the baked camembert for beginners were fantastic, the duck breast and poitrine de oirc for main dishes was even better. the wine list is very good, we went with the chirouble. so no one wanted to dessert. anyway, very happy to have enjoyed this meal and we will return with many friends. big parties should make a rdw.
