I loved my recent visits to Anthony’s. I road-tripped through KC twice in the last two weeks. I stopped for lunch on my first visit. I liked the old school decor and dim lighting. The restaurant is very loud and the staff is unfriendly. They seem to prioritize their regular customers and ignore everyone else. The food is terrible. While you may receive a lot of food on your plate, quality is more important than quantity, and I cannot recommend this place.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The staff is so welcoming and the food is authentic Italian comfort food. The calamari is exceptional, full of flavor and always fresh. Their pasta dishes are truly delicious. It's my go-to spot after church. You can relax, enjoy a conversation over coffee, or have a second glass of wine without feeling rushed to leave.
