Feedback
The restaurant has received a mix of reviews from its customers. Some were not impressed with the loud and disorganized atmosphere, poorly seasoned and cooked food with tiny portions, and lackluster service. On the other hand, many customers enjoyed their dining experience, praising the excellent food and service. The dessert menu was especially highlighted as a must-try with options like chocolate cake, bread pudding, and churros with dulce de leche sauce. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its ups and downs but can be a great choice for a relaxed brunch, a special birthday celebration, or a wonderful evening out with loved ones.
We loved Twigs. Hung around after a fantastic dinner for great live music. Strongly recommend it if your in Blowing Rock.
Beautiful resteraunt, lobby and bar areas. Love the twinkling lights woven with twigs that make up the decor. Professional server Tyler took care of us very well, told us the day's specials, but I had to get his attention for tea refills (which werequite good). My fillet was tasty but tough but my Husband reports the shrimp and grits were terrific. Very comfortable place toenjoy a long, leisurely dinner. Lots of good parking. Not really a place for kids. Live music and specials in the bar Fridayand Saturday nights. Good appetizer/soup/salad menu for small plates.
Horrible service tonight. Had 7pm reservations. Sat at our table for 20 minutes before we even got water. We had to ask twice. Everything was a long wait. Waiter never asked if we wanted refills or another drink (glass of wine/twig mule). Never wasserved rolls. We had to ask for bread. When we finally got the little dinner rolls, they were hard as a rock! Our appetizer anddinner were good. Not enough silverware for our dessert. Had 1 spoon. The decaf coffee was disgusting, like mud. However, ourcheesecake tasted good. Do not take a lot of reservations if you can't staff. The other tables were complaining about theservice as well. Step up your service or you won't have any customers to serve.
