This is the best Korean restaurant in Bloomington! The self-service is straightforward and convenient. The portion sizes are generous, making the prices very reasonable. Worst korean restautant in USA. I never eat cockroach in my life but until they served. Cockroach was in my tofu soup, owner apologized and gave my soup money, while she was telling me “that is not cockroach” , one big was on their wall. They just killed it. Awful, awful ...awful!!! If you want to test cockroach food go there!!!!
Best deal on local Korean food. I usually get the yukejang 육개장. There's unlimited side dishes and I don't feel guilty asking for more rice. $10 and I leave full or with leftovers.
I’m giving this restaurant one star because there’s no option for zero. The service truly doesn't deserve any stars. To be honest, the food itself isn't bad, but every time I come here, I end up waiting at least 30 minutes. There have been at least three occasions when they completely forgot to process my order, and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for it. Right now, I’m sitting here typing this as I've been waiting for 52 minutes. The owner and her staff are friendly and sincerely apologize for the long wait, but they never make any real changes to improve the situation. I've often been late to class because I expected a quick meal here, which is what this restaurant should ideally provide.
Decent food, free flow of tasty self-serve appetizers. Main problem is that the whole place terms of grease, and the odor clings onto you for the rest of the day. I'd go somewhere else just because of this.
