BIGFORK Inn offers an eclectic menu inspired by flavors from around the world. Established in 1937 as a hotel, owners Bob and Suzie Keenan have maintained a welcoming atmosphere that continues to this day. Guests can enjoy meals made with fresh, high-quality ingredients with family and friends. Start your meal with appetizers such as Chinese tootsie roll, hoisin riblets, shrimp cocktail, calamari, and artichoke hearts. Then indulge in main courses like Cajun shrimp pasta, crispy farmhouse duck, prime rib, black and white tournedos, and haus schnitzel. Be sure to leave room for delicious dessert options.

I love just about everything here but really diggin on the seafood lately. The best King salmon and giant sea scallops this July

The town has a troubled history marked by instances of suicide and murder, with challenges like depression and alcoholism affecting the community. It feels like a place burdened by a dark past.
This restaurant is currently closed for renovations and is expected to reopen in 2023. I really hope it does, as it was one of my old favorites. A notice on the door from the owners mentions that they did not realize how much work the place required when they purchased it.
