I... read more My sister treated us both to a lovely meal on a midweek night. This tavern is not a large open space and is therefore more cozy and homely in its atmosphere. I required a gluten free meal and this was not a problem and enjoyed a lovely and filling meal. Our waitess was a friendly, helpful and attentative Irish lass with most beautiful accent. There is carpet on the floor so the noise level is fairly quiet so conversation is easy. Both of us had a really nice meal, glass of wine and night out. Would definately go again.

My partner and I both ordered steak, before the mains were served we were brought a complimentary cob loaf which was warm and fresh. After that the mains were brought out my steak was a little over cooked but was still good. the veggies had a sauce over them which was a bit to spicy for my liking. The gravy was a bit thin but still good. We ordered desserts, my partner had the chocolate mousse cake and i had a slice of NY cheesecake, serving sizes were huge and the coffee which i ordered had grind in it so i wasnt impressed with that . Overall service was great , staff were friendly, and food was above average.

The roast of the day was ve... read more We eat at the Hampton Park Tavern quite often. The food is usually good and reasonably priced and our latest visit was no exception. The roast of the day was very good and the porterhouse steak was cooked beautifully. The tiramisu dessert was yummy. The service could have been better, we had to wait a long time for our meal.. But the waitress was friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the signature dish and it did not disappoint - the flavors were bold and unique, and the presentation was beautiful. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience.
