Feedback
We got this resturant recommended when we were in Berlin in November , and it did not disappoint ! The atmosphere was nice , staff good and the food was absolutely fantastic! The pizza was especially good , cooked in a stone oven which you...could see in the restaurant bar. My colleagues believed that this had to be the world's best pizza they ate pizza Tartufo With truffle oil . The pizza named Emiliana is also recommended for those who do not like truffle oil . It was yummy!
We stopped on a whim at Ruby's on our first night in Berlin. Keen for a break from heavy German Brauhaus meals, the sign advertising wood-fired pizzas caught our eye as we walked home from the East Side Gallery. We got a tasty Cotto e...Funghi pizza. The pizza was easily big enough for two to share and had the right amount of topping. The thin base had just the right amount of crunch and there were no soggy parts. To make us feel healthy, we got an Insalata Mista as a side. The salad was a bit of a disappointment; weird grey cashews, a lot of olives, only a few pieces of cherry tomato and a way too much dressing. It wasn't the refreshing, crisp salad we had hoped for. To drink we got a biodynamic blood orange soda and a beer. All up it was 23.40€. Not outrageous, a fair price for the pizza (9.50€ but the salad was overpriced (7.50€ . When we got there there were only a few tables with customers and we were offered to sit wherever we liked. We sat outside as the weather was nice. As it is on a main road, it's not the most amazing setting, but not unpleasant. The service was friendly and efficient. We wouldn't rush back here, but if you're in the neighbourhood with a hankering for pizza, this will satisfy your craving.
