When we finally succeeded on a less than busy day at getting a tabl... read more Tried to come to this place a few times, despite reading the reviews of the obnoxious staff. When we finally succeeded on a less than busy day at getting a table(less than a quarter of the tables were occupied), surprise surprise! Yep, the staff were clowns. Half of the staff were standing around smoking cigarettes while the other half who were working passed our table multiple times in a ten minute period, without so much as looking at us. So naturally we up and left and went to Napoli across the street for a much cheaper pizza whose staff didn 't ignore us. For the record: This is a very uncommon style of service which is NOT common in Italy. In fact, of all the pizza places I 've been to in Italy, only one had this near exact same type of service, and without surprise it was the worst pizza I had in Italy. Italian service is friendly, inviting and charming. These pseudo-punks can pretend their behavior is authentic, and maybe Berliners fall for this stuff telling themselves that it 's just how real Italians work. If you know your stuff though, you ain 't gonna find this place worthwhile or authentic in any capacity. It 's just a pretentious nonsense.

They all offer the same great quality for pizza and all have slightly bad and unfriendly service. Always love to visit one of their restaurants to enjoy great pizza. Il...Ritrovo is the hip Friedrichshain version and offers the same quality of food and the same sometimes unfriendly service. Food Delicious pizza, Piccantissima is my favorite Portion size Good Atmosphere Usually crowded, slightly uncomfortable chairs, loud Service Not the friendliest, can be slow when it's busy Drinks Wine and beer, limited selection Value for money Great, you pay for delicious food

Tip: Always follow the handwritten table with changing daily dishes.
