3.5 came here with a couch surfer and just started it. There is no English menu, so we tried our best to order something. He saw the word Pesto, so I ordered it, and I was pretty upset not to see a pesto sauce. Instead there was a sprinkle of dried basil. My dish also came with a pulp, half a banana, tomato slices, arugula and a bowl of fresh mozzarella. I can't say there was something funny about my court. His other side was more tasteful. He had a pulp sandwich filled with vegetables, cheese and salami. I also ordered a glazed Kreuziant to think it was a Brezel Crossiant based on color, but it was still good. I was also surprised by the price for the Crossiant thought it would be more expensive. The pretzels are not freshly baked when you order it was still kept warm, so do not expect Auntie Ann style pretzels. As for the seating, there are a few outside and more inside. Service was fast, but the server/hole was not too friendly.
A great pretzel in a great location. As an American, I've more or less resigned to the fact that I'm never going to find something in Berlin like the Amish pretzels we have in the states, but here you can drown your sorrows about the lack of melted butter in a generous smear of Frischkäse or make your pretzel into a sandwich. Great option for a light lunch! Looks like it's a good place to study, as well--outlets everywhere and free Wi-Fi. The staff is very friendly, and the owner even helped my wife practice her German! It's always a welcome relief when people here don't get frustrated at you because you're still learning.
