Their BL... read more Had breakfast, lunch and dinner on different days. The menu is a good variety of simple fare. The French toast with real syrup was a pleasant surprise. Their BLT with light mayo was excellent for lunch. The fried chicken wrap was an outstanding dinner. The portions were just right. Their service at all three meals on different days was quick, courteous, and very friendly. One staff member noted that I left my car window open and that it was supposed to rain soon. Great place to eat in Bennington!

I might say their meals remind me of what my mom used to make, although I must admit, she never cooked quite as well as they do at Jensen's. The staff is always attentive without being intrusive. The fried chicken and fish are reliably enjoyable every time.

Wish the wait staff was more... read more People seem to like Jensen's. We decided to eat lunch there. I had the Waldorf Salad. My husband had a burger. We enjoyed our food. Wish the wait staff was more attentive. She didn't check on us at all. Another waitress saw that my husband could use a refill on his soda. We appreciated that. Our waitress never checked on how we were doing at all. She didn't even say a word as she dropped the check off at our table. Not likely to stop back.
