Hambone's cooks their brisket perfectly, they use top quality beef cuts so they start off right with the best ingredients. The brisket is cooked/smoked for 12 hours and is absolutely delicious with a good bark on it. Don't look any further if you want the best brisket around. Their pulled pork is amazing as well. They make their own sauces and they are spot on for flavor and texture. Overall, their food meets or beats your southern BBQ desires. We ordered brisket for a catered event as well and everyone at the party had only good things to say about it. The restaurant interior is comfortable with some flat screen TV's to watch sports. There is free parking all around the restaurant too! I've posted pictures of the inside and outside. Yum Yum Yum!

In my order of one pound of brisket, there were only a few slices of meat, with the majority being sauce, which ended up spilling all over the place since it wasn’t packaged properly. The garlic mashed potatoes seemed like they were made from instant flakes rather than real potatoes due to their consistency. Additionally, they forgot to include the seasoning for the spicy black-eyed peas. To top it off, the peach cobbler was dry and overcooked. I have had good experiences in the past where the food was well-prepared and packaged, but this time was a significant letdown. The food is too expensive and heavily sauced to be served in cheap foam containers with excess sauce. Perhaps it was just an off day, or there may be some issues with the staff on 10/8/21. Regardless of the takeout nature of our order, customers deserve better service.

The meat is always tender and perfectly seasonal, while the fish tastes fresh and is fried just right—not overly coated in flour but rather with corn flour! The only critique I have is regarding the tacos; they used to be incredibly tasty, but lately, they've become smaller and greasier, which masks the flavor of the meat. If you have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and try the delightful desserts they offer. My personal favorites are the banana pudding and the mini strawberry cheesecake cups.

We ate right outside in the back there was public seating available, butnot a lot of it.
