If you like horror come here for that. If you like BBQ , go somewhere else.Sausage was super disappointing. Looked and tasted like the ring sausage you get at the grocery store and heat up at home.The brisket looks good. But is superLean and not really flavorful.Bbq sauce is ok.Prob won’t stop here again for what we paid we could have gotten better somewhere else
The food here is top-notch BBQ, reminiscent of what I enjoyed while growing up in South Texas. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find BBQ joints like this one. I highly recommend the brisket and sausage platter, served with beans and potato salad. The interior is quite unique, decorated with horror movie memorabilia that you can check out while you wait for your meal. I'm so glad we discovered this gem during our stay in Smithville. It's a quick stop with fantastic food.
Tried getting some gas on the way to my grandpa's place. Said they were out of gas and the transport wouldn't be by for awhile. Got some killer BBQ though! Hope nothing else goes wrong on this trip.
This restaurant is a fantastic place to visit! The food is great as well, and I definitely plan to return soon.
