First they make you pay upfront, the prices have increased by about 30%, and the portion sizes have decreased. You only get one scoop, and it doesn't even look appetizing. It's a rip off, so I suggest avoiding this place if you can.
Worst fish and chips I have had in ages don’t bother going as very expensive and very small with hardly any fish. It used to be very good when it first opened but quality and quantity has gone downhill.
Have never had a bad meal from here. Always piping hot and fresh. First choice for fish and chips in this area.
Decided to grab a quick lunch after travelling. Bought the Senior fish and chips that we've had in the past and were pleased with. Sadly we were very disappointed. We only had a 5 min drive home but the food was cold. The portion of fish had to be a child's portion. I've had more fish in a couple of fish fingers! The batter was very thick and soggy,the few chips tasteless. Definitely will not be returning!
Can’t fault this chippy Fish is always cooked well, only fault we did have this time round was the chips were slightly under cooked and a few ‘green’ ones yuck! Needless to say this hasn’t put us off our cheeky takeaway now and then
