This was our favorite place to eat when we came to town, but not anymore! The prefabricated salad that came with our meals looked awful, so we asked for more. They were just as bad. We sent her back. This used to be our favorite restaurant when we visited town, but that’s changed! The pre-packaged salads that accompanied our meals looked terrible, so we requested replacements. Unfortunately, they were just as disappointing, and we returned them. Then we were informed that they had no more available. Seriously? They have a salad bar, yet couldn't provide us with a fresh salad. We weren't asking for everything from the bar—just a small serving of the same lettuce, a few cucumber slices, and a few tomato slices that were supposed to come with the pre-made salads. Was that too much to ask? We won't be returning and will find another place to spend our money—somewhere that truly values their customers.
I visited some family and decided to try this restaurant, but I was disappointed with both the quality and quantity considering the price. The filets were thin and, to put it mildly, lacked seasoning. I'm willing to pay top dollar for a great meal, but I expect to get my money's worth. I ordered two pieces of catfish, two pieces of flounder (which were awful), and five fried oysters, along with a partially undercooked baked potato, a small salad with just eight pieces of lettuce, two tomato slices, and one cucumber slice. For $19, it simply wasn't worth it, and I won’t be coming back.
