Description

Nestled amid a row of worn-out shops, this café offers a selection of tasty dishes and generous portions, from Israeli breakfasts to Italian pizzas. While the food earns praise for its freshness and flavors, service quality varies, with some customers encountering delays and a lack of basic attentiveness. The decor is basic and can feel chaotic, particularly with staff management. Despite the friendly atmosphere, some find the owner’s behavior towards staff uncomfortable. Although there are areas for improvement, including decor and service consistency, the café holds promise for enjoyable takeaway meals, especially for those seeking kosher options.

I went to this restaurant with my work colleagues. The interior of the place was nice, but it is located on the corner of a row of slightly worn-out shops. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and well-dressed. I ordered a wrap, which was delicious and cost about £8. However, the only downside was the lady who I believe is the owner. She loudly and rudely started instructing the staff to clean up, which made us feel like we were being inconvenienced by her behavior. It seemed like she was being a bit tyrannical. It was uncomfortable to see her scolding the staff in the dining area. Overall, I think the management was lacking in professionalism. We even considered leaving as we felt like we were in the way. Additionally, seeing the delivery of produce being brought in and stacked against a wall made it seem like we had arrived before the main event. Despite these issues, I may still consider getting takeaway from here as the food was good enough.

Best kosher restaurant for fish and chips. I've tried all the rest. The food was lovely and tasty. You won't find a better place in the kosher locality.

Nothing positive to say about this place. Took ages for them to bring menus. The food was bordering on inedible (once it arrived). They messed up the order. Our food came at different times. I had a stomach problem (not full food poisoning, thankfully) for a day after. Oh, and they overcharged us. Then when we (rightly) didn't tip, the waitress moaned.

All I had was a portion of fried mushrooms, side salad and a cappuccino with my tuna jacket potato. The tuna filling was small in relation to the large baked potato. I asked for more tuna. The total cost was £27.50! It's put me right off from returning there.
