Noteworthy details: The rooms are not very clean or safe. When we went, there was a crowd playing cards there. I don't think they are guests. Looked like locals Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5 View all feedback.
Location is good.. But room and all very pathetic condition.. Not at all recomentable.. Not good for family's. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
It is a worst place to stay for tourists. Me and my family of total 3 members stayed here in room no. 109 for 1 night to avail the Jungle safari. It is not at all a suitable place for family and definitely not for female guests. Location is in a deserted place by the highway, 4-5 kms away from Bandipur Tiger Reserve. It is 1 km away from the Forest Safari booking and starting point. Not for the weak hearted. The rooms are 100 metres away from the reception place and very scary at night as there are no guards or attendants around. There is no intercom in the rooms. Hot water was not provided during our visit in cold December end. The care-taker was indifferent to our hot water need and provided lame excuses. No good kitchen and meals are expensive and menu very limited to standard dishes/items. To top it all we had a horrific experience at night. Me, my wife and my 12-yr old daughter were literally terrified at around midnight and prayed for our safety. We spent the night without sleeping. It so happened that only our room was occupied that night. All other rooms were empty. Suddenly at around 11.30 pm, someone turned off the power and it never came back. It was pitch dark everywhere. We thought it was a power cut and waited for 15-20 mins hoping power backup would come up. But when power did not come I called the caretaker on his mobile phone, but he didn't answer my call. We somehow spent the night sleeplessly in the dark. We heard weird haunting noise during that night. We kept praying for our safety. The next morning we realized someone deliberately switched off our room's power. Luckily we did not venture out of the room at night, else, who knows, what would have happened to us? We feel someone had mischievous plans to either rob, scare or hurt us, as there were no other rooms occupied. We were the only hapless occupants. Else what could explain the power cut and the strange noise outside afterwards? In the early morning we quietly moved out and thanked God that we escaped unscathed and unhurt. This place is for highway motorists (read men only) who need to spend a night owing to some or other compulsion as the highway remains closed for traffic at night. So a good stopover for drinking and having fun at night. It is not at all a family friendly place nor suitable for holidayers or tourists. Safety: Very unsafe. No guards or watchman during night. No power backup. Power is turned off at night. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet
