Pretty Good. Last night I went here with 2 friends on a whim 'let 's get something to eat ' 'okay, what? ' 'i don 't know lets find something ' we drove around... read more Pretty Good. Last night I went here with 2 friends on a whim 'let 's get something to eat ' 'okay, what? ' 'i don 't know lets find something ' we drove around and ended up here. I 've seen this place a lot and have never tried it out.<br/ -It 's kind of funky. It was about 8:30, the bar was full, and the restaurant was almost empty(just like I like it). The chips and salsa are very good. After unsuccesfully trying to convince our bigger friend to go for the borrito challenge(eat two they 're free or eat 3 and you get $50) I ordered the La Mina Borrito w/ carne asada. It was good. The meat was tasteful and cooked well and I liked the guac and sauce on top. Not the best I 've had but it was filling, cheap, and good enough. <br/ -My friends ordered fajitas and the big borrito(i forget what it 's called) w/ shredded beef. Fajita guy said his meat tasted good but it all seemed a little basic to me. Burrito guy struggled to finish his burrito, probably because it was loaded with beans and rice. He said that the beef was really good but i could tell over all he wasn 't too impressed.<br/ -Over all I would have to say that it was good not fantastic or notable. It does say 'mexican restaurant and SEAFOOD ' so to be fair if I ever come back I 'll have to try out their seafood and revise my review.

The original La Mina is always the best! Delicious food, excellent service and awesome horchata!
