A nice and usually overlooked place with a very limited menu. Only two pasta dishes on the menu: lagsane bolognese and Cannelloni ricotta und Spinat (both €5.60) and we tried them both. For a place right in the middle of town, these prices are hard to beat. Portions look small but they are filling enough for the price. What Martin S doesn't like about Centro Caffe:
In principle they have a great location and you sit on Maximilianstraße. However with only 4 tables occupied it took 10 minutes to bring an espresso and a cappuccino, and another 10 to bring the croissants after the coffee was already finished. And they charged 10,50! Most expensive coffee ever. One star for the location one star for the croissant, which although late was good. Minus stars for the price and the wait.... View all feedback.
Centro is one of my favorite cafés in augsburg. recently they added their plant-based mile and vegan croissants to their menu.
That was an amazing breakfast. Really good pastries, fresh and aromatic
One of the place I go for an apéro (snack and drink) especially during summer time, they propose mainly snack, cakes and a large variety of drinks. The staff and service is nice. Picture: Crostini with Sardellen
