The food was homemade and amazing. We had the 3 tiered afternoon tea. The portions were generous.There were 3 meat croissants with turkey and cheese, ham and cheese and chicken salad. There were 3 desserts, one being a big slice of coconut cake. 2 salads, a cucumber salad and a Broccoli salad with plenty of fresh fruit. What Brandy Baker doesn't like about Sweet Magnolias Tea Bistro:
This was my first high tea. The atmosphere was inviting, darling historic place with all of the sights, tastes and smells. The blueberry lavender tea was delicious both cold and hot. The tiers of scones, macaroons, quiche and fruit were delicious. My favorite was the tomato bisque. The group said the coconut cake was devine. The service unfortunately wasn't that great. A big thank you to Sweet Magnolias Tea Bistro for hosting the Polk County Women Social Club! The venue was charming, and the food was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this spot for a delightful afternoon tea with friends and great company.
My husband and I had an early lunch here on a Tuesday and we left simply amazed. The food was absolutely delicious (the cheesy chicken crunch in particular left us stunned and the scones were mouthwatering!! I also loved the tea of the day which was a Christmas in July tea (literally tasted exactly like it sounds-and I probably had 4 glasses full of it because of how good it was! The entire place just takes you back in time in the best way and the service was so friendly and attentive. We can 't wait to go back!!
Sweet Magnolias created the perfect tea party for my daughter's 8th birthday! I couldn't recommended them more!!! They took care of everything, the food was delicious, and the girls had an amazing time. It was reasonably priced and simple to book. Angel and Kennedy took great care of us and had everything prepared for the party!
Scones were warm and delicious. The lunch was very good. This was our 1st trip and we will come back again ! Quaint lil place
