Do not visit if you are foreigners. I visited this place with my Husband after long day of walk. And they refused service with obvious lies. The accomodation ow... read more Do not visit if you are foreigners. I visited this place with my Husband after long day of walk. And they refused service with obvious lies. The accomodation owner recommended us this restaurant, and told it is their last day before the gap. So we asked if the place need reservation. And he answered 'no, did you see any people in this time of year? Even town is empty now. Just visit. ' So we went for visit. And there was a table with a family and rest was totally empty. However, after waitress saw my husband, told us that tables are all are reserved. So we went out and ask to local in town. And they said never need to reserve the place. So, it can be xenophobic, or racism due to my husband is quarter mixed. This restaurant answered to my husband review that it is false accusation. But is it easy to say 'the tables are all booked ', than 'we don 't want to serve you. '? So I do not want to recommend this place if you are any foreigners passing this town.

They did not have vegan dishes on the menu but the chef came up with a wonderful mushroom pasta for my friend. She said it was the best food so far on the camino. The waitress and chef were both really nice and helpful. I had the 3 course menu and it was excelent, also the best food I've eaten here. The dishes seemed to be very well thought out to make a whole experience on a plate, not just good ingredients slapped on a plate without thinking about balance and how well the ingredients play together and like many places in Spain. There are many Michelin restaurants on the camino, but this one seems like a place that has not been discovered, at least yet.
