I don't feel "punished" after eating. Perhaps they change the cooking oil more frequently than other chip stands? Fairly fast service. Top marks for a chip stand...it is what it is.

Fries are more... read more Wes's is well known and popular with visitors to town. Personally, I'm not a fan. They only have fries on their menu, no other food and no gravy. Fries are more soggy then crispy and leave a greasy film in your mouth. They have a sweet flavour, I've heard from them keeping the fries in sugar water before cooking. I've tried a few times and just not a fan. There are better places to get fries and other food in the area.

We made another visit to Arnprior and stopped at Wes' once again.
