I was brought there as a guest by a local. first it looked old fashioned and empty but once the owner/server came out with the dishes i was speechless. an amazing tuna tartar as a starter, the olive oil being poured on the table for each dish, and ground pepper are amazing. great pasta filled with tuna, and a beautiful fish for the main. the desert was a marvellous crema de catalan. the wines served were the best Italy has to offer and they build up in flavour together with the different courses. a must place to visit if your in the area. not cheap.
Wow we were brought here by a local. It was a work dinner and our host ordered for us. The food was fantastic. The owner took very good care of us and was a charming host. I suspect the person that brought us was very well known. There were too many things we were brought to describe but I had mushroom pasta and another pasta that was shaped like miniature crab rangu at a Chinese place the shape was all that was like that. The pasta had a wonderful brown sauce. I was also brought veil chops two ways both done perfectly and fork tender. One grilled and one with vodka sauce I think. There were also some really good deserts with Cream Brule as my favorite. I have no idea how much it cost but I would not go here if you could not afford to pay higher cost meals. There was a Michelin guide sticker but I could not tell what it as for sure. I suspect it was below a star. Any way I would go back there if I could find it again.
