I was in Annecy working on a novel and I wound up here late one night for a wonderful dinner. Came back Sunday afternoon with friends, they found us a table, and we had a magical afternoon. Merci.

I had the f... read more Not sure if my experience was different from the others due to it being a slow weekday at lunch but the service was lovely and the food was so good! I had the filet La boeuf a la plancha and it was cooked beautifully with a divine char and medium/medium-rare per my request! The steak was paired with a mouthwatering morel sauce with what must be some of the first fresh morels of the season, a tasty salad and a heavenly au gratin. Paired with a local red wine, and completed by the cafe gourmand (platter of mini desserts and a dopio), this meal was delicious and I’ll be back for more on my next trip to Annecy!

I always return to L'Atlas because they're quick, the portions are great, the prices are excellent, and the food doesn't leave you feeling heavy not even the creamy cheese dishes. I don't understand the low ratings. Never disappointed when I come here and I've brought family who have all been please. By the way, they serve MUSSELS, not clams... And when we had an issue with the mussels, they took them back without question and replaced our dish. Top notch service. Just be polite and you'll get politeness back!
