Despite its location in... read more I recently visited Bewon Korean Restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, affordable prices, and excellent service. Despite its location in a strip mall, the restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.I ordered the bibimbap and it did not disappoint! The dish was expertly prepared with a variety of fresh and flavorful ingredients that blended together perfectly. The portion size was also generous, making it a filling and satisfying meal.What really stood out to me was the excellent service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that everything was to my liking. They were happy to answer any questions I had and offer recommendations, which added to the overall experience.Overall, I highly recommend Bewon Korean Restaurant to anyone who loves Korean food. Despite its unassuming location, the restaurant's food, prices, and service are top-notch. It's a great option for a casual meal or for those who want to try Korean food for the first time.

I had wanted to dine in for lunch, but di... read more Bewon is a small mom pop restaurant in Ann Arbor serving authentic Korean dishes. They offer both dine in or take out. I had wanted to dine in for lunch, but did not have time in between work meetings so ordered take out. I placed my order in advance over phone as there is currently no online ordering options. I ordered the soon tofu (spicty tofu soup with an egg, clams, shrimp, and veggies) which was about $15, and the portion was generous. The tofu was silky soft and basically melted in your mouth as you ate it. The soon tofu was milder in spice than what I am used to for soondubu so for those who like Korean tofu soup but can't really eat spicy food, Bewon's soon tofu may be perfect for them. The meal also came with purple rice as well as five different banchans (sides).I hope to go back sometime soon to dine in and try out some of Bewon's other dishes served in stone bowls and on hot plates.

I had the Teok Mandu Guk, and it was nice and light; and made me feel so energetic after. Nice and light meal. The banchen were nice, I got some small pancakes. Some potatoes, some radish kimchi, and some nappa kimchi. All were lovely. Highly recommended place. Go and get spoiled by the two running it inside.
