This restaurant is conveniently located near the race route and lives up to expectations in terms of pricing. The breakfast is a popular choice not only among the guests, which is always a good sign. What Syster Fredriksson doesn't like about Aasen Hotell Restaurang Ab:

Lovely hotel located in the heart of beautiful Sweden.
Despite being renovated last year, this hotel was a disappointment. The rooms were standard with old-fashioned shower curtains in the bathroom and no double bed. The heating did not work and there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Guests were required to pay for these amenities at the bar, which took 30 seconds to reach. On the last night of my stay, the stairs suddenly became inaccessible, posing a challenge for disabled individuals. Additionally, the hotel did not have a wine and spirits list, which should be standard for all guests. Our bill for tea/coffee, 4 cocktails, and possibly 6 beers over a 2-day stay came to over 1000 SEK. While I appreciate Swedish design for its cleanliness and modernity, this hotel's furniture seemed outdated and second-hand.
Beautiful accommodation for this small town. beautiful restaurant.
Rooms are basic and the bathrooms are small. Nice breakfast and the lunch was great. Only negative thing was that we were told to go to our rooms at 10pm because the bar was shutting and we were not allowed to sit in the bar/lounge area.
