We are locals and have been to Caliza before. I enjoyed my other visits but I have never felt like it was anything more than ok food and a beautiful setting....... read more We are locals and have been to Caliza before. I enjoyed my other visits but I have never felt like it was anything more than ok food and a beautiful setting..... until now. everything was perfect.. crab cake wrap, salad, and scallops were perfect. This was a phenomenal experience. WOW

The only lo... read more It was mostly highs but a couple one low. The service was incredible and will come back again. Loved our server and the whole vibe. Felt Covid safe. The only low was pasta dish that I thought was going to be pesto burrata and breadcrumbs and came out tasting like milk and mint. So much mint. But the server noticed that I didn’t really eat it and brought us a complementary dessert. I don’t fault them. Just wasn’t my favorite dish. Everything else, the dip trip tuna tartare were amazing and we will definitely dine here again.

While there were very few tables there was a private event with guest speaker was extremely loud and distracting. Pool is always beautiful in the evening.

The hostess was very rude in informing me that they were reservation-only for the entire evening...on a Tuesday...despite the restaurant being empty. I understand the need for reservations due to COVID, but there is a way to implement this policy without making customers feel unwelcome at your exclusive establishment.

We had a large party celebrating an event and Gray the entire Caliza team went above and beyond to make the experience perfect and memorable. The ambiance was dreamy, the food was unbelievable don't skip the dip trio appetizer, the pesto pasta burrata, and the P P Smash cocktail. We did a set menu and cocktail it was delicious. Absolutely the highlight of our trip and can't wait to be back.

Everything put in front of us was perfection--every cocktail we tried, the octopus, ceviche, pork chop, and key lime pie. The only thing that wasn't perfect was my husband's tuna (slightly overcooked), but it was flavorful and on such an amazing pasta that it really didn't matter. Absolutely comparable to all our favorite Atlanta restaurants.

We are big fans of Alys Beach, so we decided to try this restaurant for dinner. We had to wait a couple of weeks for a reservation, but we were able to get a ta... read more We are big fans of Alys Beach, so we decided to try this restaurant for dinner. We had to wait a couple of weeks for a reservation, but we were able to get a table at 7:30pm through the waitlist. The ambiance, service, and menu options were all wonderful. The food was a bit salty for our liking, but we still had a great experience. We particularly enjoyed the octopus, lamb ribs, and arugula salad. The scallop cauliflower steak was just okay. We plan to come back earlier next time to admire the beautiful architecture before sunset.

We had reservations Friday night for 10 adults Wine... read more Is this restaurant under new management? It is always a go-to for us when staying in Rosemary or Alys Beach. We had reservations Friday night for 10 adults Wine selection was adequate. Food was excellent as always. However, service was subpar and ourserver was confrontational. A few members of our party arrived early, were seated, and then had to wait (for some reason) forthe remainder of the party to arrive before drink orders were taken. Then waited 20 minutes for a drink and even before servingdrinks the server wanted to take our dinner order. When politely reminded that some of us had been waiting now for almost 30minutes for a drink, the server wanted to argue. The entire evening the wait staff rushed us through dinner, which negativelyaffected the entire experience. Perhaps the front of the house should be reminded that a major draw for Caliza is theatmosphere and experience, please don't spoil it next time.

The atmosphere and aesthetics were unbeatable, and we received excellent service. Khonger was a delight to be around all evening, and the food was like a work of art.
