The food tasted great, though the pozole was a lot h... read more My friend and I went here on a Tuesday night and we were able to be seated and eat within a period of time. The food tasted great, though the pozole was a lot hotter than I was anticipating. The room was warm and cozy, and if I had one critique, it was there wasn't a lot of room for purses at the table. Everything was priced appropriately, and I ended up spending less than I thought I would with a restaurant as trendy as this.

I have high expectations given the burger places where I came from, so this was a bit of a let down. Had the Fig Mac. I mean, it was FINE, but could have been MUCH better. The lack of dessert selection was a let down as well. Given their theme , seems to me that they should have at LEAST had an awesome FIG based dessert! Like a fig newton on crack or something! LOL The lavender salad was good, though I 'd get rid of the red onion which overpowers EVERYTHING in it (I personally dislike red onion on most everything for that reason). I didn 't really get any hint of lavender, but other than the red onion which I tried to pick over, the flavors were good. The brussels sprouts were good as well. Service was fine and food came out quickly and hot, though was disappointed that a special day wasn 't recognized in ANY form. I doubt I 'll go back on my own, though if someone wanted to go there, I wouldn 't say no.
