For many years we have come to this restaurant and it is always a pleasure to see rui and anna. we just returned from very hot weather to home! we came every da... read more For many years we have come to this restaurant and it is always a pleasure to see rui and anna. we just returned from very hot weather to home! we came every day when it was opened, eating is excellent, lamb hacks,. piri, tuna salad, all with a beautiful cold beer and a bottle of rosé wine in a beautiful location directly on the beach. we want to get the waiter and anna (the giggly one) say it was a joy to meet them oh and the new addition of the family nikki a portugese water dog, the bonkers! they all see again next year.

The food is simple, but a... read more Do not let yourself be the more old fashion interior the food is delicious! We visited Aquario several times during our two-week stay. The food is simple, but absolutely delicious. Especially the seafood, which ranged from sardines to the sole and golden stream, were as fabulous as the much fancier, but also much more expensive sueste in Ferragudo. Aquario staff are friendly and helpful. We found this by far the best Portuguese restaurant in Albufeira and much better than some other better recommended options nearby.
