It's unbelievable that you can't... read more We came into Dumpling Dumpling at lunchtime on a Saturday. We ordered some beef dumplings and were told they weren't available. It's unbelievable that you can't order dumplings from a place called Dumpling Dumpling. The server then explained that he couldn't let us order dumplings since they would have to cook our order and there were too many orders already. I've never heard such nonsense. Looking around the room, there were only four other tables occupied. Don't know why these guys are in business.

The dumplings are pre fried and sitting in a bay marie - I thought these would be for takeaway and as I was dining in they would be fresh but I was wrong. Dough was ok, nice and crisp and surprisingly not dried out. Filling was mostly carrot and lacking in filling and also in flavour. My dining companions pork dumplings were very dry. Service was friendly but I would not bother returning.

I ordered BBQ beef with fried noodles and spring onion sauce, along with a serving of pork dumplings that I shared with a friend. The food came out quickly, but was unimpressive in appearance. The dumplings looked soggy and the noodles seemed plain with minimal toppings. The noodles were passable, slightly undercooked in my opinion, and the beef was chewy. There wasn't enough sauce for my liking, so I had to add extra soy sauce. The dumplings tasted better than they looked and were satisfying. Overall, the food was decent and I would consider returning to try other dishes. For $13, I couldn't complain too much, but I was somewhat disappointed. My biggest concern was the limited choices of dumplings on the menu for a place called the Dumpling King. I was expecting a wider variety of dumplings to try, served in smaller portions, but instead found limited options in larger servings. It felt more like a dumpling Prince to me.
