Came by for ice cream. Chose a double scoop, in a cone, of Wild Berries Cheesecake, and Pistachio. I really enjoyed the berries cheesecake flavour. The tartness from the berries balanced well with the sweetness from the cheesecake ice cream. The pistachio was a lot thicker for some reason, and the texture wasn't as lovely and creamy. The pistachio flavour wasn't quite intense enough for my liking either. Obviously no... View all feedback.
What Lucinda Wisozk doesn't like about Cocolat:
Came late during fringe. Half the tables were dirty with used dishes. Ordered a cheesecake in a jar. Was told there were no spoons so we were given a fork!!! Do the dishes and you will have spoons!!!No clean latte glasses either so coffees were served in take away containers. People sat at dirty tables, but they were not cleared by staff so they left. We had to clear our own table!!! View all feedback.
Yummm. I love this desert place. I always take visitors to Adelaide here. Nice after a evening Walk through the mall. I am pleased to see some New vegan options too.
Popped in after dinner to take advantage of the deal of the day, choc mint dome with free coffee. Pretty good deal, good coffee and the dome tasted exactly like an after dinner mint! Nice selection of cakes, desserts etc. Friendly service and the waitress found it quite amusing that I actually paid cash! Can you believe it? Someone actually paying in cash? Who woulda thought, such an ancient act!
Only wheelchair access to shop is via the rear entrance, into a very narrow rear dining area. Uncaring staff members do not keep much of an interest as to who is sitting there, so if one is mobility limited and seated alone it's nigh on impossible to get service! The narrow dining area is also very noisy! Not at all impressed!
Came by for ice cream. Chose a double scoop, in a cone, of Wild Berries & Cheesecake, and Pistachio. I really enjoyed the berries & cheesecake flavour. The tartness from the berries balanced well with the sweetness from the cheesecake ice cream. The pistachio was a lot thicker for some reason, and the texture wasn't as lovely and creamy. The pistachio flavour wasn't quite intense enough for my liking either. Obviously not the same as your gourmet Italian gelato from places like Gelato Messina, but it hits the spot if you're feeling like ice cream.
The Bailey's Embrace consist of Bailey in the mousse, but it does not taste like anything but chocolate. They over killed it with the White chocolate coated on the cake.
