When I am in Abbotsford/Clearbrook we always go to Patna Sweets and Restaurant. We used to go in to just order samosa....always big, hot, tasty and reasonably priced, but then one day we decided to check out the restaurant they opened a few years ago. It is excellent. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is great. As I always say to my wife, I wish I had started eating Indian food when I was a kid.... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Patna Sweets & Restaurant:
I ordered chole bhature and I got a piece of glass in my chole. When I went to complain the women in front was super rude and had a really bad attitude. She said that they don’t sell chole and that there was no glass in it but there was. My son almost choked on it. But gods sake I saw it. Please never buy food here. View all feedback.
This place is popular for sweets and other Indian food, but especially well-known for their samosas.

I agree with the other reviews...it does not look so special, but it excellent, and the staff are warm and friendly. Don't tell too many people. Let's keep it to ourselves. Our little secret delicious Indian place. Shhh! Enjoy!
We love to come each month. Our goal is to try one new dish each time. Everything is tasty. Reshmi chicken is grilled on charcoal. So good. Chicken shahi korma and chili paneer and palak paneer. Always get a dozen samosas to go and maybe butter chicken too. I have a lot of food allergies but never here as they cook from scratch
We've always gone to Patna Sweets and Chat (love the name). You don't see many Caucasians in there, but the staff is friendly and of course they speak English. You can get a daily special for less than $10, which is always fresh and delicious. I try to try something new every time for a new experience, although I tend to be a butter chicken kind of guy. Everything can be eaten at the restaurant they have, with big tables and super service, or take out. As for take out, I highly recommend a half dozen of the samosa with chutney. Fresh and spicy, but mild enough for kids. The best we've had. Enjoy the experience!
This is a very plain looking establishment in a very plain strip mall. You enter into the sweet shop and head into the restaurant to the right. Decor is quite old in the restaurant and the kick plates are quite dingy. Our waitress was very casual, not overly friendly, but did get our order right, and returned often to make sure we had what we needed. My wife had Butter Chicken; I had Chicken Vindaloo. We also had accompaniments of Basmati rice, Naan, and Chai Tea.The aromas and tastes were wonderful. Abbotsford has quite a few Indian restaurants to choose from but we were looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. This restaurant had both. The food was as spicy as you wish; the serving sizes weren't overly large, although my wife did take some home.We finished up by choosing a couple of Indian sweets on our way out. A satisfying meal! Acquaintances have told me the samosas are very good, but we didn't try them.
