Aussie burger with a veggie patty; the patty was quite soft, plus with their choice of bun, everything was disintegrating with juices running down my fingers so I had to scarf this one down quick. I expected more feta... I couldn't really taste it, and it looked like just a few sprinkles. Also it tasted a bit under-seasoned, while could have been mitigated with a more generous serving of feta. Chips are okay, also under-seasoned, but fried well. The garlic dressing is a bit thin, but ok. It's not that it tasted bad or anything, but it was really not satisfying. Salt textural issue. Not sure if I will come back to this. Maybe if someone posts a photo of the chili, I might try that one...
Really nice place with a tasty menu. The portions are enormous. I’ve had bun baos with tofu and a salad and couldn’t eat everything, had to take it away.
A little (foreigner)? Burgerplatz from the main street with all hotels, STC had some vegan comfort options. I ordered the classic Veggie Burger (black bean, potatoes, rice, tofu boar, side salad and pitcher of water. The Tofu bao was by far the best – crisp tofu, soft sweet rolls and sweet and hearty sauce. The burger was ok – the patty was dense and filled, but not so crisp and tasteful. I guess the bean about soy protein. Salad with balsamikum also ok. I could fill 1 liter of water bottles with the pitcher and still have some for the restaurant. The frits are also vegan and well looked.
Vegan burgers, vegan tofu bao buns (ask for them without the sauce vegan! and hand cut fries! I BYO vegan Siracha mayo so I can have it with the bao buns. Delicious.
