Hello Brummbaer, the day before yesterday on Good Friday I was looking for a pollack recipe. Your variant spoke to me immediately because I thought it would be quick and easy. And that's exactly how it was. My time was limited as it was already 8pm. I also served mashed potatoes (I made it myself, although lack of time) and topped it with dried roasted onions. Instead of salad, a glass of beetroot had to serve. And yet I earned compliments from my family. They said your baked fish has never tasted so savory and interesting. I didn't know this variant of breading yet, I will now use it more often. Shouldn't be tasty for schnitzel too, right? I am happy to pass this compliment on and thank you very much. Since I am at war with breaded things, I tried this breading yesterday - and I have to say: great! the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crispy and the fish juicy - what more could you ask for? I breaded the fish twice because I like the crust rather thick and fried the fish on both sides for about 5 minutes over medium heat. grateful greetings lexi
