The place was nearly empty, and the service was incredibly slow. I ordered a coffee, which arrived fairly quickly, but then I waited for fifteen minutes without a server coming by to take my order. Good solid breakfast and very friendly service. I had the eggs hash browns and toast. I also ordered the gravy (shown in pic but didn’t eat it because it had sausage and I am a vegetarian The meal was a good value for the price.
Had a good dinner and great wait staff on a karaoke night. Been awhile since I've been here, a few years. I thought it was still just as good as it was years ago. We got the chicken fried steak and the tuna sandwich. I'm so very picky about chicken fried steak and Daybreakers version is quite good. It is hand breaded too. The tuna sandwich, it is on the dryer side, but adding some mayo to your bread will take care of that. They don't add any condiments to the bread unless requested. Got the Daybreakers pasta as one of the sides. It's good. It's a warm pasta with spaghetti noodles, tomato chunks, and it's cooked in an olive oil based sauce. We had a slice of cherry pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. So good. Nice warm pie and the cherries were not too tart to where they make the pie sour. They were more on the sweet side so it paired awesome with the ice cream. Also, the portions are large too. You shouldn't leave here hungry :
Daybreakers was so good we went twice in one weekend! They had amazing service, delicious coffee cake and quaint little breakfasts. Everyone was so friendly and polite and I definitely felt at home. Next time we're in Yuma, we'll be back!

Frustrated, I decided to leave and went to Denny's, where I was served right away.
