I went oktober 2017, the night the decoration is nice, the personal cery friendly. I order a steak, but was not so tasteful, compare them with the money I spent. suppe was beautiful. the music was sometimes high and later stationary. I suggest to be cheaper or have more taste to eat! View all feedback.
Best grill restaurant of Turkish cuisine with self-baked fresh bread, naval and Lamacun. Everything, but also everything is handmade, cut and freshly prepared on the charcoal grill. From their diner bag, even with cheese, you get really tired. Everything can be eaten here, even the stews, grilled dishes, nightish and, as said, the self-made, self-baked bread is unbeatably good and cheap. For more than 20 years we have been pilgering there in 3rd generation. Customers come from all over Dortmund, because it is simply absolutely fresh and good and the prices allow you to dream. This is Turkish cuisine.
Even if the store from the outside does not seem inviting a real secret tip...I have a year i. The proximity accustomed and had not thought to go in here once, but a big mistake! Very tasty lunches at fair prices and the most tasty diner in delicious freshly baked bread, also the Dürüm bread is freshly baked!
Emmi grill is a real secret tipp for the friends of Turkish cuisine! the interieur is expedient: besides a snack-typical theke, there are seating for the guests. they can either take the food or eat it before the place. in this respect, the Emmi grill differs slightly from a normal dönerladen. but the taste of eating makes the difference. it just tastes great! who does not know that Emmi grill should definitely overlook and try!
This was my second visit, and I'd like to share my honest opinion. The decor is somewhat reminiscent of a tea room, but the overall atmosphere feels rather cold – both in terms of temperature and overall vibe. The staff isn't unfriendly, but unfortunately, you don't feel particularly welcome either. On my first visit, I ordered the daily special: minced beef with vegetables. The flavor was simple and, sadly, not very impressive. What was especially disappointing, however, was the homemade bread, which is praised so highly in many reviews. To me, it seemed dry and hard, like it was from the day before. Nevertheless, I wanted to give the restaurant a second chance and ordered a doner kebab plate this time – for a hefty €14. For that price, I received a small portion of rice and dry, minced-like doner meat – and again, the same hard bread as the first time. For the price and quality, it's simply not worth it for me. I won't be coming back.
