we visited this place in summer and had some fantastic meals here. we decided to go Sunday dinner too and we were not disappointed! cork that melts in mouth (they use rib eye) . nice friendly staff. only negative is the garden could do with a bit tlc, but I'm sure they get this right for the next year. recommend defo! We had a brilliant lunch outside, wonderful fish and chips, ham, egg and chips and for me the delicious chicken pieces with sweet chilli sauce and salad. The lovely Jimmy served us and really looked after us. Can't wait to go back for more! Great value for money. View all feedback.
The restaurant has great, friendly and helpful staff. The food is well-cooked and reasonably priced.
We stopped by for lunch and had the fish and chips, tuna, ham, and egg with chips. All the plates were cleared and we were all very satisfied. The homemade chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how they should be. We will definitely be returning.

Tonight, I took my wife and children out for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The Christmas decorations added a cozy and inviting atmosphere to the restaurant. I would have given it a 5-star rating, but the children's menu was a bit disappointing. It could use more options to choose from.
Well-known, happy and efficient staff. good regular menu and excellent gluten-free meal, from a GF menu.
